Rev. Stephen T. Nichols was born May 5, 1968 in South Bronx, New
York. In 1987 Rev. Nichols joined the United States Navy. While
stationed in Pensacola, Fl in 1991 he received Jesus Christ as his
personal Lord and Savior. By the grace of God he escaped the
limitations of poverty to widen his spiritual parameters to reach people
of varied backgrounds and cultures. Through his life experiences God
has placed within his heart a deep love and burden to share the Gospel
message of Christ with all who will listen. Rev. Nichols’ ministry
uniquely promotes reconciliation and redemption, which definitely
crosses denominational and social lines. His messages tackle such
issues as religion -vs- relationship, intimacy with God, family
relationships, personal spiritual growth, sowing and reaping, the power
of the Holy Spirit, the character of God, and the Person of Jesus
Christ. Rev. Nichols fervently believes the Bible to be the inerrant
Word of God, a belief strongly reflected in his teaching.
Rev. Nichols received has call into the ministry in 1997 and remained a
faithful servant and student of God’s word. He was licensed to preach
the Gospel in February 2002 by Hallelujah International Ministries out
of Alexandria, Va. Later that same year Rev. Nichols was ordained
and officially installed as the pastor of New Hope Christian in Sicily,
Italy. Rev. Nichols believes that the call on his life is to establish
believers in God’s Word. Finding himself a Christian in need of
victory many years ago, he discovered freedom to live victoriously
through applying the Word of God. Through the love and compassion
that God has planted in his heart many souls have been saved and
delivered from the bondage of sin.
Minister Kimberly M. Nichols was born on August 10, 1972 in
Pensacola, Fl. to the parents of Freddie and Portia Coleman. She is the
only daughter and the oldest of three children. She is also the wife of
sixteen years to Reverend Stephen T. Nichols and the mother to three
young beautiful children.
March 31, 1997 was the beginning of a new life for her. That is the
day that she decided to serve the Lord whole heartily. From that point
on God used two willing vessels to do His will. August 8, 1997 The
Lord moved the couple to Rota, Spain where He would lay a firm
foundation for her and husband. It was in Spain where God used them
as Youth Leaders and in various other ministries. From there God
guided them to Sigonella, Sicily where He would one year later appoint
her husband as Pastor of New Hope Christian Church. Not only was
she the First Lady but an Officer of the church performing the duties
over the Women Ministry, Hospitality dept., Usher dept. and
Transportation dept. All of which through obedience to God He
allowed her to mature for His Glory. September 2003 was when she
accepted the call in ministry and was later licensed in September 19,
2004. Minister Kimberly M. Nichols and her family are currently
serving the Lord in Millington, TN as Co. Pastor of Power for Living
Christian Worship Center under the leadership of Senior Pastor
Stephen T. Nichols.
